Raven just howled for the very first time! I nearly fell over I was laughing so hard!!!! It was so high pitched and funny! I thought she had hurt herself or something and I rushed to see her throw her head back and attempt to howl!!!! It was such a pathetic little howl! I didn't think she would ever howl because she has been a quiet little dog up until about a week ago (now I can't get her to shut up!). Wicket was howling from about 20 weeks and has developed a lovely deep proper wolf style howl, but if raven keeps howling I'm going to have to buy ear plugs before she pops my ear drums! I need to try and record it so I can share it with you all. Honestly, it's the funniest thing I've ever heard!!!
:lol: :lol: :lol: :lol: Im glad you mentioned this because Honey howls - long drawn out ones and then Lexi copied her and Lexi's are more high-pitched and comes in fits and starts - more like a 'ow ow ow' whereas Honey's is a long 'owwwwwwwww' and Bruce has a deeper howl but does not do this as much. If I squeak a toy, Honey and Lexi start to howl and when the answer machine comes on if I cant get to the phone quick enough and they the voice asking to to leave a message they both start howling to this :lol: :lol: :lol: :lol: Bruce barks at it! :roll: :roll: It is so funny so I know what you mean and I chuckle for fun too :lol: :lol: :lol:

Diesel does a Lexi style one, with such force that his front paws leave the ground!!! :lol:
He has only ever howled like a "man" once...when I set off the smoke alarm at the same time as the phone started ringing and I think it was all too much for him!! :(

hehehehehehhee oh i would love to hear this howl :lol: :lol: :lol: :lol: flynn hasnt worked this out yet or else he's just quite, he can woof, well its more like a wee muffled "oof" sort of noise, if you can call that a bark heheheh xxx

Raven has a deep woof (it actually sounds like she's saying woof!) for when she's confused but her bark is almost like a yip. It's so annoying. Wicket has proper dog barks. Folk are always surprised to see he's a small dog when they hear him!

You need to post a photo of diesel howling! That sounds so cute!!!

Aww!! As soon as I started playing the clip Wicket started barking at the pc!!! I think he thinks there's a lhasa in it! He keeps sniffing all round it!

Flower has this deep loud bark, far greater than the rest of the gang. I'll have to get it on tape too one day. It surprised the heck out of me the first time I heard it too. :shock: :D ;)

Flower has got a deep Woooooofffffff!!! Unlike any other here. I was expecting a smaller yip too. Suprised the daylights out of me.

Heheheheee!!! Talking of big dogs, did you see the Bull Mastiff on the news who was SO HUGE he showed up on Google Earth maps???
Well, Stewart has done work on the hotel where he lives...and he told me about him...last year he was plastering, and had 3 buckets of water (big huge plastering buckets) by his van...he went into the van to get the plaster out, came back, and the dog was lapping the leftovers of the 3rd bucket!!!!!!!!!!!! He had drained them dry!!!!!!!!!!!! :D :D :D :D :D :D :D
