Maisie had her first litter early this year and after much pedigree, health, and temperament research, I choose Ch Jalus Galileo as her 'hubby'. She went on to have five pups and pics can be seen on my website. Taking all things into account I was pleased with the pups at eight weeks and kept two, Basil and Belle. They have had a reasonable start to their 'show' career, given I am a beginner in Lhasas.

Now it is time to consider my next move. I always hoped to breed with Maisie twice to start my own line. Hopefully I can go forward with Belle in time, but for now it is Maisie who I am thinking about.

My plan, as with her first litter, is to open her pedigree, but continue careful 'line breeding' to retain type. Having spent alot of time to consider my options I have decided on Ch Avonbourne All Spice. The pedigree on paper looks good and I hope we shall be successful!
I hope, with luck on my side, to keep another little girl so I can breed on with two lines that go back to Maisie, that in time I will be able to bring together. Thats obviously a long term ambition!

Now all the 'thinking' is done I wait for nature to do her bit! Maisie is looking very fit and she is due in season early next year, so we shall see, as they say!!
