Hello, I'm Shannon and this is Layla...She's 7 months old. We still have some training to do, but so far she's a pretty good little girl...she keeps me on my toes, that's for sure...but I enjoy her company very much! :)

Hi Shannon & Layla,
Welcome to lhasaworld.org.
Layla, looks like butter would not melt in her mouth,
but what an expression she has,
you can see the admiration in her eyes for you.
I hope that you enjoy lhasaworld,
and look forward to reading Layla's antics,
and viewing photos of her as she grows up.
Once again welcome
ShannonDawn

Thank you :) your babies are gorgeous!
Does anyone have any advice on how to make her stop her pulling while we are walking?? That's probably the biggest challenge I've had with her...she gets really excited and chokes herself all the time lol

Hi ShannonDawn,
I've got the same problem with Benji, he's 3 now and still gets so excited about walks that he pulls for the first few minutes. He does calm down a bit but there's still a little pull. I've tried all sorts including yanking on his lead and telling him no, that didn't work so I tried treats when he stopped pulling but then it became a game, then I saw something on TV and tried that. It was basically letting his lead go loose when he pulled hard so that he would stumble, then turn and go in opposite direction. Still didn't work, maybe he's just too small to stumble lol.
All I do now is keep his lead short until he calms down.
We've had the opposite with Coco, at first she didn't want to go for walks and would sit there and dig her heels in but now she goes and she's fine although she does like to criss cross lol
