Nancy what type of camera do you have?just about to get a new one myself bought hubby another one for christmas he already has a Sony Mavica CD camera it records direct onto CD has a writer in the camera cost a fortune but it is big and too difficult for me to use so bought him a small one for christmas 12.1 mega pixel one which he has just started to use as he thought it was too small but he took some really good video with it the other day (of the dogs) and now he's really impressed so i am going to buy one for me as my last one was a cheapy from Aldi about 4 years ago & i think its about time i need a new one

Mine is a Fuji S5600
Its a digital SLR which I bought primarily cos it had a 10x optical zoom (zooms in without losinng any quality like digital zoom does)
It has all different modes on it, half of which I havent got round to trying out yet!
I have recently bought additional macro lenses off ebay for it...which is how I get the real close-ups...
The only downside is its quite a large sized camera.
It cost £150 but I have seen them for £80 on ebay.
Hope this helps xxx
PS...All the videos you see on here are recorded on there too xxx

Ha ha ha!!! Yes, good point!
I got a soft case for mine so I can just throw it in my bag anyway lol!!
I have always had Olympus cameras up until now, and usually changed them each year (giving my old ones to the kids) but I have had this one 18 months and am so happy with it I wouldnt change it xx

Ok Nancy this is all your fault i have spent the day looking on e-bay and no further forward. Have seen some cameras with 20x zoom and SLR whats the difference and what lenses would i need as i love doing macro with hubbys other camera also what about the 8 gig card would need to get everything together as i am too impatient to wait for bits and pieces are the lenses expensive and would i just have to look for fuji lenses or could i use others?
