He he they are here as long as you pick up the poop (as I do) and as long as they don't go on the graves (and Honey did...........I took the pic but I was shouting at her at the same time - oooops).

That's strange. There is absolutely no restrictions on dogs in our local graveyard. We took wick and raven there tonight. Out of respect I don't let them run on the muslim part of the graveyard (since muslims think dogs are unclean). I just let them run loose in the rest of it!

I should add, we went with my mum to her dad's grave (he died when she was 6 or 7) a few weeks ago. She didn't know where it was so we had to find it .. and low and behold, wicket peed on it to find it! I looked where he was peeing and was like "Mum! Was his name Matthew? .. I think wick found it!"

Didnt know Muslims had their own bits of cemeteries either?
The only separated parts at Poole Cemetery are the war graves, and the childrens.

Aw lovely photos, I like the last one too! We aren't allowed to take dogs in the cemetery at all here, they're banned, all thanks to people who don't pick up after their dogs. In fact they want to ban dogs from the parks as well around here, soon there won't be anywhere dogs can go:(

They need to be buried facing mecca (to which a woman i used to work with asked "why do they need to be buried facing the bingo?"!!!). So in our local graveyard (which is huge!) they are buried at about 90 degrees to everyone else.

Thanks Debbie.
All this is down to irresponsible dog owners and it makes me angry because there is a percentage of us that clean up and a percentage that don't and its down to the 'don'ts' that cause us the problem!!!xxxxxxxxxx

Yes, its the same here.
We have a lovely huge park which has a sectioned off play area for kids, and a beach and a dog-friendly cafe where you can actually take dogs on a lead into, yet the council are trying to ban dogs now cos of the minority who dont pick up after their dogs xx

I do hope so because the council need to come down on the irresponsible dog owners not the ppl that ARE responsible!!! Crazy!!! xxx
