My two are fed on the Royal Canin Shih Tzu food. They absolutely love it! Wicket is really fussy and I never thought I'd find a dry food he liked, but he just loves it. It really helped Raven with her weight and it has loads of vits and minerals in it to help their skin and coat. Since Raven started on it she looks a lot better. It is quite expensive, but you can buy big bags of it which work out better value if she likes it.

If it's the normal small breed royal canin you're trying, it smells lovely! I know that's a total random comment but it does! I like to think it tastes as good as it smells (but I'm not willing to try it)! My two were on that before the shih tzu and they would sit and wait for their food bowls to be put down.

Royal Canin is one of the better foods on the market. I have used it in the past but had to change to Burns due to Lexi's food intolerance but on saying this, intolerance or not, they all gobbled it down for fun.

And yes it used to smell so good I must admit. Honey devoured it and she is a faddy eater as in slow and used to pick away and took ages but with Royal Canin, it disappeared quick...............maybe it really did taste as good as the smell lol lol

When I went to see the Stud owner yesterday, I noticed that she also used Royal Canin and I watched the pups eat their food and it didnt last seconds! She also said that she noticed their coats were miles better since being on Royal Canin.

If I used Royal Canin again, Lexi would want it too..................maybe I should try just a handful in each bowl mixed with the Burns and just see how Lexi reacts. Im sure I read somewhere that allergies etc can appear at no particular time and can disappear at any time too. Mmmm I will have to see xxxxxxxxxx
