I love them! They just look so great in their long coats! It must be a lot of work having three. I think two is hard enough and Wicket is kept in short coat.

:D Yes it does take some doing I must admit especially the weather we gt here but enjoy it - just like Pamela with all of her long coated poppets xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

Thanks Debs and yes, I do think Lexi is very pretty - biased I know :D :D :D :D not so pretty when she comes off the moors though with all the mud and fern stuck to her ;) ;) ;) ;) xx

Hi Lia,

I love all your babies, especially Lexi!! How do you do her hair? Hair split into 2 sides and then each side with 2 bands?

I should try that on Coco! :D

Well for the centre parting from nose to tail, I use a knitting needle. To band is going to be difficult to put into writing but I will try. I take a little hair from above eyes (try not to grab the eyelashes) making sure that the line of the hairline at the sides and behind of the 'bunch' (excuse the pun lol) are straight as can be then put a band in. Then from behind the banded hair, take another equal sized 'bunch' and do exactly the same as in making the hairline tidy and band the first bunch into the second one so that the second band is actually tying the already banded first bunch to the second one. Do the same for the other side. I sometimes 'triple' band each side too.

This is difficult to explain so I hope you can understand it - also make sure they are not too tight to the skin as this could pull and be too tight and watch out for the top of where the ears start as you must not drag any hair from the ears into the bands.

God I hope you can understand this - maybe some of the other members might be able to put it into plainer english :lol: :lol: :lol: :lol:

I have had long hair all my life and I do french plaits (if you know what I mean), so I see what you're saying :)

I'll be trying that on Coco soon :)
