Hi all, just wondering if you would like to share which were/are your Lhasas favourite toys as a puppy?
Gucci seems to get bored very very quickly with his and flits from one to the other!!

I find that my guys like old socks, dirty underwear (I take them away but they still find them), rope toys, marrow bones are faves of mine.
I also look for small cat toys for them to fling around the house.

Well Wicket's favourite toy was a Kong Q-tease. He had the duck, then another duck, then a rooster, a bluebird, a large squirrel then back to a rooster and after all that he was about 10 months old! His first one last ages beofre he chewed the rope off of it (he did that when he was teething) then I bought him a new one. I think he thought I'd buy a new one each time he chewed the rope off (which I did). Eventually it got too expensive to replace them all the time so he never got another one.
Here are some pictures of him at 5 weeks playing with it. It was his first toy and he didn't have a clue what to make of it!

Yes, I got Gucci a rope toy which he likes chomping on too...gonna get some more when I get to the pet shop xx

Ebony loves her blue ball, closely followed by her teddy, she's had both since she was a puppy. She also likes plastic milk bottle tops, caps from deoderants/hairspray bottles and the wash ball for the wash liquid, lol! xxx

Yesterday I dropped a cushion on the floor and ever since this has been Guccis New Bed.
Officially! Lol!
I took him to meet my friend tonight...I havent seen any of my friends in a month or more...and she hadnt yet met Gucci, so Joe distracted Diesel with a walk while I took Gucci away...
Gucci travelled well in the car (in a wash basket lol ) and when we got back he did a wee in the hallway and put himself straight to bed on the cushion...have since carried Gucci and HIs New Bed out to the nursery lol lol!!!

Hehe, they know how to make themselves comfy don't they, lol. Ebony likes plastic bags (I know, she's wierd) if there's ever one lying about on the floor she goes to lie on it. xxx

Diesel is terrified of the noise plastic bags make. He is scared of the smoke alarm and hoover too!

Aw bless him, mine don't mind the smoke alarm or the hoover but Ebony hates the long handled dustpan and brush, it's out everyday so she ought to be used to it. I think it scared her once when it fell over and now she runs to her 'den' under the chair whenever the dreaded cupboard door opens and out comes the dustpan! xxx

Tee hee!!! Diesel used to run up the stairs from the hoover...but now he attacks it with the full force of an imaginary army!!!

Honey liked different ones when she was young but Bruce didnt really bother too much and tended to want to just share Honeys and Lexi's (at the same time lol) but now that they are older, its down to socks and flannels - they love flannels!!! Honey will chase a ball and retrieve it, Lexi is not bothered and just watches and Bruce will chase a ball but NOT bring it back! They also love empty 'packets' - I think they like the noise they make if anything..............oh and pegs, they love pegs but I dont particularly like to let them have these for obvious reasons

Nancy cat toys or MacDonald toy you get in the kids packs. I like to keep these on hand when I have puppies. I get them by the bag at tag sales.

Thats a good idea...I think I will try and get to one at the weekend.
I am gonna pop down the pet store later and stock up on some more toys I think.

That reminds me of Joe being scared of the attic when he was little he came in from nursery to see Stewart half in...and could only see his feet hanging out of the hatch and thought the attic was eating his dad alive lol lol after that he was phobic about them and used to ask every he met if they had one, in a really fearful voice...and Im sure half of them thought I was locking him in the attic at home lol lol lol!!!!!!

Oh, but going back to the toys...I had a mooch round the charity shops yesterday and got Gucci a funny furry snake which he loves, and a load of baby rattle type things which are designed for babies to teethe on...Ive yet to sterilise them though xxx

Mine dont really bother much these days but they do like to chase Golf balls............Honey and Bruce that is ..................Lexi just looks at everything and thinks "Huh, I cant be bothered" :lol: :lol: xxxxxxxxxxxx

Yes indeed!! I got him some teething rings at the car boot sale today, as well as a load of tinsy teddies from McDonalds, and some mini Teletubbies and yes, he still loves my toes the best!!! Tee hee!!!
