JUst wanted to let everyone know that Henry has a special home. He will be leaving in about 2 week or so on the 25th. He will be going to live with my sister and her family. They have have been taking care of Bailey a puppy from my Feb litter, he is owned by someone she sits for. Bailey at some point will be leaving their house but not for the next 6 months or so. the mother works alot and the daughter spends more time with my sister then she does at her own house, this way Bailey get to know them but is not left alone all the time.
My sister was going to get a puppy from my next litters this fall, but sense I still have Henry they decided now would be a better time for a puppy then in Dec or Jan. they are going to drive up here they live in VW) for a couple of days and get him. I will get to see Bailey. I know that Henry will have a great home. If it turns out that his teeth and legs stay the way they are and he continues to look as well as he does now, they will try to show him. they know that I make no promisses on this. but they are okay with it and the girls are very happy.
My sisters says she would rather have a new puppy then a kitten. So everyone is excited to have him join the family. My mother will spend the winters with him and so I will still feel his is part of us.
He goes for his next puppy shots this week and so he will ready to move.

This is brilliant news Bridget and Im so happy Henry is going to be somewhere where he will most definitely be loved and cared for.

Aw that's great! It's great that he'll still be in the family!
This is fabulous news Bridget , how lovely that Henry will be a part of your family and you will still be able to see him etc..........and of course keep us here all updated with pics of him lol lol.
Really pleased things have turned out so well.

Aw this is really good news Bridget. I'm thrilled that Henry has a lovely new home and that it's within your family. It sounds like they can't wait to have him! xxx

Thanks guys. Yes the girls cant wait to have him at the house. But would you not know as soon as I told them they could have him I get someone that wants him. But I'm not backing out with my sister. I won't see the money but Nathan will see his cousins for a day or so and that is worth it. They are going to spend alot more coming for the weekend then they would just buying him.
If he turns out to be a dog for the shows I get breeding rights to him. He will have my "Adirondack" in front of his name. The best part is I will get to see him growing up. The same for boy bailey.

I won't see him all that much as I only see my sister once year but mom spends the winters with them. I will see pictures of him and know how he is doing. I'm planning to co-own him with them if they decide to show him later in the year. This is their dream.
They wanted a female from Indy and Libby but sense they don't look like they want to cooperate this almost as good. Indy and Sam.

Yes of course I will. I have some new pictures of Bailey that I'm to put on here. got to get through today and then I will have all the time I want for a week.

I work in a school so I finish next Tuesday for nearly 6 weeks - yipppppeeeeee!!!
Also the council are holding a two day strike this week and even though Im not in the union I get two days off hoorah!!!

I have the quiet time at home as my mom and Nathan are going to my sisters for a week. I'm staying home with my 7 dogs, her 1 dog and Henry. I will have to take care of Sandy the hedgehog but she is not a problem. I will be working but once I get home the time is mine. I will get to posting pictures then.

Me too...........Although its only lunch times it's a job that stuffs up your whole day . But we have the 2 day strike gong on here too .......Yippee........Only really benefiting from one day though as I had already booked wednesday off for hospital appointment! Just my luck lol lol

Well I work mornings as a teaching assistant in Reception, and from 12 til half past I stay and oversee their lunches...They were meant to be going into the hall with the rest of the school but found it too daunting at the start of the year so I agreed to stay on and watch them in their classroom. Its really nice at lunchtime cos you get real conversations!!!

This weekend is the start of the glasgow fair fortnight so I get this friday and then monday off uni! Woohoo! Unfortunately Chris only gets monday so I'll probably spend friday working from home :(

I will see what I can do. I have a couple that my sister sent me of Bailey boy and Henry I need to take some more of him. He is just get. He is so funny, thinks he's a big dog, barking to get on the chair and barking when he wants something. Really is a great boy.
