He is my little boy's little boy. This is Ruben once he was all settled into his new home. He's 7 weeks 2 days to 8 weeks in these photos.
His face is very very like Wicket's.

It's quite strange coz Ruben has a squint like wicket's (you can see it in the first picture) ... but wicket's was caused by the vet when she cut through his eyelid.
Ohhh he is gorgeous...........reminds me of Roxy when she was a pup.

Aw, he's a real cutie, very much like Wicket! xxx
Ruben is beautiful Kim and his markings and colour are fantastic. I love them all but I love the one with his new Mum when he is 'pawing' her! He is lovely and fluffy and looks like he has a thick coat and his face is to die for! xxxxxxxxx

Oh, I forgot to post about the vet. The vet said, and I quote "He was perfect". He's come on leaps and bounds since he moved in with Chris's parents. He's toddling along better and he's now eating dry puppy food 4 times a day. He got a clean bill of health so I feel better! He cried like a baby when he got his jag (just like his dad). I wonder how the other pup is getting on.
I don't think the vet looked at his walking, as he still can't be let down on the ground. That'll need to wait til his 12 or 16 week jag.

Good to hear that the vet found him in good health. The walking will come with time.

So am I. I was genuinely worried about the wee guy. I'll be even happier after the SKC champ show in August. Wicket gets his eyes tested here and I hope to god he passes.

They'll be growing up together! I'm not sure whether or not to say to Chris's mum about joining this forum. I might mention it to her next time we go to see them and then she can update photos regularly. I've been told to stop thinking of him as Wicket's boy and more of Mary and Stuart's boy ... but he reminds me so much like wick that it's hard.

Oh yes for sure...and Gucci is Diesels nephew and I keep comparing them too ... its so hard not to. That would be fab if she joined or even if she just allowed you to keep us informed on Reubens wellbeing and progress xx

Im not saying this for any other reason than that she will gain alot of experience by being on here Kim. Once she gets the hang of it, she will be able to ask any questions and even answer some of ours in time. Im sure she would enjoy it and it will help her tremendously in raising Ruben.
Its quite natural for you to think of Ruben as Wickets Boy and there's no harm in thinking this. xxxxxxx
