This is a moral question .... Would you show a bitch at an open or championship show if she was in season?

I'm just thinking about it because Raven is due in season any time from the start of August. She might be in season at SKC. I would probably still show her at the champ show but I was wondering about open shows. Would you show her at an open show where there could be dogs in the same class or would you miss them. The last time Raven was in season, she came into season the day before an open show. I went along to it and it was only bitches in her class so I showed / shown / exhibited her but I wasn't going to if there were any dogs.

What are your thoughts on this?

Having never been in this position I cannot answer but I would think that if I was, I wouldnt show if there were dogs present as not only can a dog smell a bitch in heat a mile off, it would cause alot of distraction for the dog - think Im correct here ?! x
