Thank you Nancy, I do try. I know I do not show them but I love to keep them like this and I feel very proud. I know they are not of show standard and they are only pets, but I think for pet only coats, they do well even though I say so myself :D :D

Now now Lia....there is nothing "ONLY" about being a pet! Being a pet requires just as much love with our Lhasas...and showing or not showing makes no difference...they all need to feel clean and looked after xxx Yours most certainly do xxx

I'd love to have Raven's coat look as good as you have your 3 looking. I'd definitely say that you presentation is good enough for showing, that's for sure! (It's definitely better than mine!!!)

We all try our best with our Lhasas...whether we are showing or not...and to me they all look so lovely and loved xxx

I'm not putting myslef down... I'm just being realistic. it takes years of practice and experience to get lhasas looking as good as Lia's do. At the minute I'm struggling with Raven but I'm hoping that with practice and patience (of which i am usually in short supply!) then she'll fulfill the potential she had as a puppy.

I'd love to have Raven's coat look as good as you have your 3 looking. I'd definitely say that you presentation is good enough for showing, that's for sure! (It's definitely better than mine!!!)

Kim, dont be daft - to me Raven looks brilliant and also, you have to remember that all Lhasas have different coats - all my three are all different and sometimes it can be a nightmare - depending. I also have the time too so this helps but honestly, Raven looks stunning...............outsiders will see what you dont see - always a true fact. Well to me, there does'nt seem to be much difference between Raven and Lexi but Lexi's coat is longer because she is older and has had the time for it to grow - Ravens will get there before long.
I think she is stunning ............coat and all xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

It has taken a while for me to get their coats like this yes, but, you will also get there. And if you look at Sharamnats Lhasas and their coats and then look at my three, you will see that his pooches coats are to die for! I know I wish I could get my three like his Lhasas! I dont think he has put on the same pics as he did on the old forum but there are pics in the competition that we have just held.

And you are correct, time and patience all helps and Im positive that Raven WILL fill her full potential xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

Also, you have to bear in mind that the Lhasas have different texture coats as well, which plays a big part.
Diesels is really quite rough in comparison to his friend Maggies...she is much softer and silkier - she is black - and I dont think any amount of conditioner would get his to that texture.

Yes Honey's is coarse, Lexi's is softer and silkier and Bruce's is like an inbetween. Honey always takes the longest to bath and groom, Lexi's coat dries the quickest but Bruce is the best all rounder when it comes to bathing and grooming! xx
