The subject says it all! I was proud of Raven for her first ever retrieve when she'd never been trained to do that yet and hadn't shown an interest in toys but now I'm astonished. She did two "firsts" this morning.
1. I went downstairs to let the two of them outside for the loo and I lay on the couch. She was sitting on the living room floor and she jumped straight up and onto the couch. She's been trying to do it for months but she was too small. We have laminate flooring and she just couldn't get the purchase to get up but she did it today without even having to scramble for her footing. It was a perfect wee jump. Unfortunately this now means she can get up on the couch :(
2. Someone dropped a leaflet through our door . I didn't bother to see what it was but when I turned round, Raven had picked it up, brought it upstais to me and sat it at my feet. Wicket has never even tried to pick up any mail before. I'm really impressed. OK, the leaflet was then covered in Raven slevers but still, it was a good attempt and she didn't rip or mark the leaflet with her teeth.
My little girl is growing up!
:D :D :D :D Oh wow, what an achievement and all by herself!!! This will give you a constant smile all day now! She is learning everyday is'nt she and she will know herself what she is capable of and what she is'nt it. Lexi was the same for ages then all of a sudden, she did things I never thought she would although she is still too small to jump onto our bed - hubby lifts her on every morning :lol: :lol: :lol: Good girl Raven xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

Nah. Did I mention she walks on two legs a lot? If I have the rats on my shoulders, she'll follow me all over the house on her two hind legs! She's so nosey! She wants to see what they're doing / she wants to eat them.
Her latest thing is to flash her bum at all the boys (first clue she was getting ready for her season). She walks up to them, says hello with a wee sniff of the bum then she turns around and bows down at the front so her bum is right at their nose level! She's a little slapper!!!

He he he thats what Lexi does 'when she is ready' - other than that, she does this when she is playing lol lol and Honey walks on her back legs when she knows there are titbits to be had lol lol

AS long as Raven holds off from going into season til after this weekend. That's her last show for over a month because I knew she was due in season. Ideally, I would want her going into season on tuesday (Monday is a bank holiday and i want to take them to the beach). That'll give her plenty of time to have her season and for me to make sure any stains are away before her next champ shows!

This morning Wicket was quite interested in her (honestly, it's ridiculous!). I've checked her and she's not swollen and doesn't have any blood yet, but I think it's a matter of days rather than weeks (which suits me fine!)

Mmmm Im beginning to wonder about Raven and Lexi lol lol Raven is in season and is clear - Lexi is in season and is clear lol lol put money on that they show 'colour' at the same time lol lol xx

Mmmm yes and no Kim lol. She is bigger than normal but not as it should be at this stage so its a waiting game..............I swear these two are cloned lol lol lol x

Yes they seem to be don't they so if you have a word in Ravens ear to 'hurry up' then Lexi will follow suit too lol lol lol lol xxxxxx
