Now after reading about Abby, here is an email I got from Maija's mom.......What a difference. This is why I do what I do. Makes my heart happy......
Bridget,
I am attaching a copy of the vet visit receipt we had
this afternoon - as promised.
Dr Oleaner was so impressed with her - he said she was
almost perfect !!! And I quote - she has excellent
dental mandible, (her teeth are just coming in and he
was fascinated... lol) - that her body is just the
right size for her, (not too thin, not chunky at all),
her coat and skin are excellent as are her eyes.
He held her for most of the visit - and she curled up
and fell asleep.
She uses her crate less and less but its there for her
when she needs it. When I am working on the 'puter, I
put her in there - she HOLLERS but when the big dogs
come and lie down beside the crate, she settles.
Jim took one look at her and it was all over. Maija
adores him and so cute to see him walk all over the
front yard and she hops along keeping up with him.
She now sleeps with us - after the last go out at
10ish. she is pooped and sleeps till Jim lets them all
out around 6am.
This is a headstrong little dog - but devoted and
social and just a sweetie. She hollers and yells when
she doesn't want to be in her carrier or her
crate..but..... too bad, so sad. she is
learning..the temper tantrums are getting less and
less....
We have had constant rain since we got home..mercy...
I should have us all in boots... i will post pictures
when and if the sun ever comes out.
I am referring people to your Multiply site left and
right... they see Maija and want to know all about
her and where I got her..etc etc.
Thanks so much - we all.... Jim, Jane, Sable, Tanner
and Daisy love her to bits.
PS Jim calls her Yak Butter... LOLOLOL
Oh - it says she is 1 month 12 days old on receipt -
we had it corrected - and she weighs 4.4 lbs. The
1.96 is kilograms....
Our next visit is 1 month from now - and her rabies
will be mid-August.
