OK, well as I quite proudly said, I have a pic of Diesel's daddy, Benji now.
As Im sure youll agree, they are alike! It seems in temperament as well as looks!!!

It seems Diesel is JUST like Benji in his ways as well....I described Diesel to her and she was astounded at how alike they are!!! She said her girls are all "good as gold" and Benji is "one of a kind"!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :lol: :lol: :lol: :lol: :lol: :lol:

Yeh I noticed that too!!! Shes got another litter at the moment, and I have thought long and hard about having one, but I know its not fair on Diesel to introduce a puppy, I dont think he would handle it.

Im working on it!!! The only problem is she has puppies there at the moment and I would find it too hard to leave them all there!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :D

Aw no stop it!!! Its even harder cos his breeder txtd me a pic of a new white pup yesterday along with that pic, and I have been tormenting myself by looking at it!!!!!!!! :o :o :o

Aw you know, Diesel might surprise you and be really taken with a little playmate! I wonder if there's any way you could test him out and see what he'd be like with a puppy, was it a photo of a boy or girl puppy that you've seen? :) xxx

awww nancy deez is just like his daddy, what a pair they make, i hate going to see puppies only coz i end up wanting not just one but all of them, arghhhhh i have to take someone with me to make me see sence hehehehehehehehee or id have about 50 dogs by now, and folks would call me the mad wifie wee a the dogs. im sure when the time is right you'll maybe get another eh? xxxx

Awe Nancy, Deisel's daddy is so handsome. I can't wait to hear about when the first meet. Make sure you get it on video so you an shre it with us. That is so cool!!!

Well, Diesel had a visitor last night...not his daddy but his 5 week old nephew!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :D :D Aaaaaaaaaaaaaaw!!!!!!!!!!!!! :o :D
This little pup is TOTALLY stunning. All white, and the image of Diesel. A real cutie...did lots of squeaking and tail wagging...Diesel showed real curiosity and kept coming over to investigate, which clearly excited the little pup cos the squeaking increased and he was trying to jump up to Diesel, which slightly freaked Diesel out...Diesel kind of took a step back as if to say "Oi, less of that you hairless thing!" :D :D Then, dinky little diddy did a wee on my kitchen floor, and Diesel reciprocated by cocking his leg and peeing all over Stewarts work bag... :o :lol: Then the squeaky little pup had another waddle and wag around the kitchen...closely watched by Diesel :D I picked Diesel up for a cuddle, and then picked the pup up, and Diesel leaned over to have a sniff...and didnt seem "jealous" of the pup.
Im in love, it goes without saying. :D
So when is the new member of the family coming then ???????????????

Can see where Diesel gets his looks from,
stunning daddy.
As for Diesel with the babe,
when ever you introduce a new lhasa into the family or home,
you should always do the following.
1. Pay more attention to your existing lhasa.
2. Pay Less attention to the new comer.
3. Keep an eye on the new one.
4. Praise your existing lhasa.
5. When giving treats etc, always give to your existing lhasa first.
If you follow those simple rules,
then any new comer should settle in with little or no trouble at all.
OI MISSES GO AND BUY THAT PUPPY...... Diesel will be much happier with a friend good job I aint coming with you I'd bring em all back up to sunny Cumbria! lol

Thank you Keris...that is what we did last night actually, so Im glad I did the right thing. Diesel was the centre of attention and the dear little pup was just waddling about thinking he was being ignored!! I wanted to test the water here, and have the pup on Diesels territory to see the response. It was OK I guess? I hope?
And Bigmac...wheres your will power???Hahahahahahahaaaaaa!!!!!!!!!! :D :D

Ooh, I hope you get the little fella. Diesel will be running around playing with the pup in no time. I give it a few hours. When my daughter moved up to her dads and took Jaxson it was just me, Zoey & Buggy. Buggy was too old to be much fun for Zoey and then Apolo came into our lives. She really missed Jaxson being around and Apolo filled the void. Now I have a zoo and we all sleep well at night because they are tired from all the playing.

Ive just showed that post to my husband who firmly believes a household should only have one dog. He is showing no response so Im now outwitting him and pretending Im not bothered... :D :D :D

Or you could try what i did at first............. at the age of 40 decided i would love another baby!!!! we had IVF after 3 tries which failed :( :( :( :( :( he decided that was enough, so i said i needed something he said then we will get a puppy :D :D :D :D :D .......... the rest is history, you have to make them think that its their idea Nancy otherwise you will never win they like to think they are boss but we all know better.... get the kids on your side he will be outnumbered.

Well, it came about last year when I went to buy Joe an ice cream......the lady in the van said "THATS DIESEL" rather shocked I was, :D and then she said "What are you doing with him?"... :?: :roll: :oops: ...It seems Diesel was the only white one she had ever bred, which made her remember him,,,and he looked so much like his daddy that she knew it was him! (as my photo proves!!!) :D
And THEN, the breeders daughter and grandson move in round the corner and Joes playing football with him...and I gave the lad a photo of Diesel to pass on, with my number...and then she calls to say would you believe it, she has another white puppy, her only one since Diesel!
She brought him round on Monday to introduce him to Diesel...he is sooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo cute! :D

COME ON!!! Nancy we all know we ignore husbands, if you get this new puppy his heart will melt then he has no choice but to keep it. If he says NO then go and get it he can only be cross with you for an hour max!!!!! As you know we ARE GETTING another just need to find one I like and the colour has to be right. cx
