I am so, so chuffed!!! Just had to share!!! :D :D :D
I got Diesel's papers today!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I know everyone probably has theirs, but I obviously didnt have Diesel from a pup, so I didnt have them.
Im so so chuffed!!!!!!!!!!! :D Not that I "need" them for anything...I just wanted them!! I am so grateful his breeder sent them to me!!! Really pleased!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :D :D :D
Gonna see if I can find any of his family now ha ha ha ha ha!!!!!!! :lol: :lol: :lol: :lol: :lol: :lol:

That's great. You should look up some of the affixes on the internet to see what you can find out. Or even try googling some of the dogs names. You'll be surprised what comes out.

I remember when I got Wick's papers I started trying to find out about his ancestors. I hadn't seen any of his parents so I didn't have a clue. His pedigree has some big name breeders on it, but I couldn't find out anything about them at the time. The only people I could find were the nice folks with the Lynruce affix. They told me about their dogs that was in his pedigree.

When Raven was 5 months old I was asked to bring wicket down (with his pedigree) so that Raven's breeder could have a look at him and it and assess whether they could breed. She knew every dog on the pedigree that had been shown (basically all until it got to the puppy farmer's affix). It was amazing. She could tell the colour and everything. I was amazed. That was the day I thought - I want to be like than when I'm retired. I want to know everything I possibly can about the breed and about everyone else's dogs, not just mine.

What line is it? Raven doesn't have a very diverse line, but I think wicket has one from most lhasa apso breeders in the country (ok, I'm exagerating slightly)!

That is so cool to know who where your Lhasa's come from. I'll never know Flower's roots. I have Zoey Apolo and Jaxson's pedigree papers. Even Buggy's. But Flower came through a puppy mill confiscated by authorities and placed in our Humane Society. I am very fortunate to have her pedigree or not. Although she could be related along some distant line to your Lhasa's. You never know. :lol: :lol: :lol:
