This forum always makes me so broody for another pup! They are so gorgeous but how do you cope with so many pups at once? Especially when they are up and about! Must be hard work, but I wish it was me!

We got in the first litter 5 boys and 1 girl who will be staying at us.
Then in the second litter we have 6 girls and 4 boys. We've not decided if someone will stay....

Our environment is that we own a large house and there is only the two of us.
So we have a lot of space inside the house as well outside the house.
Our life is completely dedicated to the dogs and we live with them as they live with us.

Our Lhasa's and Beardies live together with us in the house and not kennels.
It is hard work but filled with love and hapiness and joy.
Right now our priority is to keep them all alive as 10 is pretty much and really a lot of work....... :roll: :shock: :roll:

16 puppies!!! Wow! The mum of the 10 pups must have her hands full or paws full!

Wow, in all my years of breeding I've only ever had a big litter (12) once and that was because we had the father living with us. It is a handful and I bet your subsidising them with milk too huh? I know what that feels like - every 2/3 hours is draining but so worth it when you see their weights gain :)

Both litter are nice> One litter with 10, wow. I have had as many as 7 in a litter an that was hard. How is mom doing feeding the lot? I look forward to seeing how they grow. My group are just leaving now after 9 weeks.

The photos are beautiful and I love the colour of the 'mum' in the first photo with a litter of 6. The pups have gorgeous colours. The second litter of 10...................what a big litter!! Mum must be very tired :o :o Again, the pups are fabulous.

Its great to hear that all your apsos are all together in your home and that you spend every waking day looking after them. I would love to have lots and lots of apsos in my home but my husband is saying 'three' is enough at the moment. Im breeding with one of my bitches, Lexi, for the first time this year but somehow I don't think she will produce 10 puppies for the first time.........................will she ????? :roll: :roll: Anyway, I have started a separate topic called Lexi's Diary in the Whelping section although it will not really take off as yet until the mating has been confirmed.

I must say that I can't wait to have some adorable pups just like your pups - how do you feel Lissy when they have to leave you? I suppose it will always be heartbreaking to say goodbye. Anyway, all credit to you in having some beautiful Apsos. Lia xxx
