Well I take the last 4 puppies for their shots and health checks in the morning. I have someone coming to see Silver boy on Sunday. Maija, Abby and Willy all leave next week. Going to be quiet around the house for a bit. Will miss them they are so funny now. I sit and watch them playing and fighting with each other in the evening. It's amazying how Abby and Maija can take on both their brothers, the brothers even back down to those 2. Maija is the deva of the bunch and the boys kind of stand back and watch. Henry he is Henry, easy going, floppy, face kisser.
Still waiting to see if I have puppies coming in July. I think Libby is bred but not sure. Still waiting. In the mean time I'm working rearranging my dog rooms. I'm moving my bedroom into the smaller room that is being used mostly for storage and letting the dogs have my room that is bigger. Going put all their thing on shevels in the room nice and neat. I have all my puppy supplies in one tub ready when they are needed. Going to set up part of my room as an office with the printer and new laptop.
I have the wi fi router and printer here, just waiting for the new Dell to get here. Has all kinds of nice programs.
Well going sit back and enjoy the last weekend with the babies.

Oh hun, thats really sad...I dont know HOW you cope with saying goodbye...it must be so hard yet so rewarding that you have nurtured them to the place they are at today.....bless you ;)
Sounds like your home is being taken over!!! They will have you camping in the garden before you know it!!! :D
Enjoy your weekend, I'll be thinking of you xxxxxxxxxxxx

You are so right. They have taken over the house. I won't be moving out to the garden but up to the attic. I have a walk up attic, it need insulation, lights, couple of windows and plugs and I can move right up. It's in the plans but need to wait a few more years. In the mean time I'm working on the set up in the rooms that I do have.
I would not have it any other way. Nothing better then to come home from a day at work and relax with a few siting on my lap.
It is hard but they all have great familes....I just seeing the looks on everyones faces when they take them home. I have a person I work with that has a puppy and I"m always hearing what he's gotten into. Last night the family was sitting by the fire. When down from a tree comes a raccoon. Bear sees it and takes off after it, the raccoon runs very fast up the next tree and Bear stands there barking at it. I can just see him doing this.
I have another "bear" that live outside of town on a small farm. He lives with a friend of ours. I hear all about how he heards the ducks, geese, guinea and loves to eat goose poo....
Just heard from a family that has one of my blue lhasa's from last summer. He loves to right anything with a motor, rides with the husband on his harley in a front pouch ( going to get pictures of that one) has googgles that he wears to proctect his eyes.

Wow!!!!!!!!!!!!!
That sounds so amazing...and how nice you get feedback on them.
I bumped into Diesels breeder by pure chance last summer...she recognised him as being one of hers cos he is the image of his Daddy,,,,,and she was utterly horrified when I told her what happened to him...but so pleased to see how hes gotten on.
Then, last week my son Joe came in saying he had a new friend...turns out the little lad is Diesels breeders grandson...so, I got some photos of Diesel and gave them to the little lad to give his gran...I put my number on the back and she phoned me that night to thank me! She is gonna drop Diesels papers round for me too...and come and see Diesel. I cant wait to show him off!!!
I cant wait to see your photos!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :D :D :D :D :D

Yes the world is a small place. So nice that you are able to connet with Diesel breeder.
I don't hear from everyone. But I do try to send birthday greeting the first year. Gives people a chance to tell me how things are going.
I've meet some very nice people because of the lhasa's.
I'm looking forward to seeing the new pictures also. Diesel is the Harley Riding lhasa.

It was nice. Puppies did great at the vets, they were 3-4.2 lbs all healthy and had all their parts. I did alot of watching them. I have a nice couple drive up here from about 3.5 hours away to look at the last 2 boys. They took Silver boy home with them. So now I have 4 left at the house with 3 leaving this coming week. This is such a nice group of puppies.
I did go out and see one puppy that lives just outside of town. He is such a beauty. Full sibling to the dark puppies. Forgot my camera so will need to get pictures the next time I'm their. He is dark silver on top and light white/cream on the bottom half. He's the one that like to chase chickens, he even tracked one down and killed it.
Just enjoying the time we have with them. The families so make it worth it.

I''m looking forward to seeing everyone when they come get there babies. I will be meeting Willy's parents for the first time, the others both came here once before.
I'm hoping to know soon if we have puppies coming July. So hard to tell at this stage. If we are I will have a few weeks to get ready to start this over again. But I love it.

Only just caught up with this Bridget................how sad is this...............I'd be in a mess!!!   I know they have to go but omg it must be a terrible feeling having socialised with them for such a while. I think we all feel the same on here because we have shared your story and their everyday lives with you and its like we are saying goodbye too   xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

I’m not sure how I do it but I guess knowing that they all have a good homes.
The little one that left yesterday now has a name Buskee (tiebeten for little boy). He was a good traveler, no problems in the car, did potty on the stops and rode nice in the car. They stopped to show him off on the way home and was loved by all. He met his new “brother” Toshee, they are getting along very well. He will be very well loved.
Kola a little one that stayed here in town is doing great at his new home. He’s been there a week now. So far he is sleeping well, eating and getting along with the 4 human boys in the house age 3-14. He made a stand at the family picnic by steeling some dropped meat and not giving it up.
I have Maija, Abby and Willy leaving later in the week.

:P This is very good news Bridget and it really has to be alot easier knowing they are in safe and loving homes. Buskee and Toshee sound great together and I love the name Kola!! I hope they all keep in touch with you even if its just once in a while - just so you know how they are doing. Let us know when the time comes to part with the other three little ones     xx

The name Kola is starting to grow on me. The family has named all the kids with the letter :”K” so the puppy was no different. They have a cat named “Koke” and thaught it would be cute to name the puppy “Kola” as in Koke a Kola.
Maija is the next to leave, she will be moving across the border to Canada. She will have 3 labs for Siblings. Miaja will be the one ruling that house, the labs are going to love her. They lost their best friend a lhasa not too long ago. Mom and dad can’t wait to get her home.
They have even joined the site were I have my website so that they can stay in touch. I’ve had several families do this. This one reason I have my site there, kind of like myspace.

Of course hun...having them is no different from having children really...they just dont answer you back!!!
Except when they get a bit bigger!!!
I had a right stand off when grooming Diesel tonight...every time the comb went on him ........"ERRRRRRRRR GRRRRRRRRR" Like the Gremlin Lhasa on youtube!!!!!!!!!!! :D :D :D :D :D :D And each time hubby said "Dieeeeseeeellllll" in a low voice, he stopped immediately...then soon as he thought he wasnt being watched he started the noise again!!!      This went on for about 20 minutes, neither Deez nor me would give in!!!

That's me and Brandy the "Queen" of the house. She thinks she runs the place, I'm just here to watch. She gets into everyones face and yells at them, so funny to watch her in action. But she has this place under control. I get into matches with her over she is not the "real boss" of the house.

How quirky to name everyone in the household beginning with the letter 'K'.
Maija obviously has a strong personality...........forgive me but I can't remember what colour Maija is - she doesnt have any red in her does she because its known over here that 'red heads' are fiery and strong willed    How far is the border to canada from you Bridget and I presume the new parents will be coming to collect her from you. xxxxxx

Maija was picked up a couple hours ago by her mom and a friend. They were so happy to see her. Now Maija kept looking at me as to say who is the person and where am I going. She snuggled nice for my bye to her. They were on their way home to meet the rest of the family. She will be sleeping in bed tonight with her mom and dad and 3 sibling labs. She has a very good home.
My house is nice and quiet tonight. We know who the big mouth of the puppies was. I have everyone in bed sleeping, Abby and Willy went to bed on their own and I put Henry to bed after a nice snuggle and kisses.

   crazy but Im a bit 'filled up' now x Its that 'goodbye' thing! Oh Bridget, I have it all to come but as you say, Maija is going to a good, loving amd secure home. :P Maija would have sensed that 'something' was not the norm...............hence her cuddles were so close and so precious....................the last touch     now I am off on one - sorry xxxxxxxxxxxxxx
Oh wow ...me too... :(
I dont think I'd be any good at breeding :? Although at least you know she is going to a good home and will no doubt be spoilt rotten :P

Tonight I'm getting Abby and Willi ready for their mom's tomorrow. Willy will be going on vacation in the mobile home to get him use to traveling. He will be spending his summer's in New Hamsher and winters in Florida. Got an email asking if I could send him home with extra food so he has enough until they order it when they get home.
Abby is going to a horse farm with 2 lhasa poo's and a nice family. They can't wait to get here. Abby too will be traveling as the family restores antiques and go to shows on weekends.
I just spend an hour on the phone with a nice lady that just had her lhasa put down after 14.5 years, she's been crying for 4 days and really wanted a new puppy now but has decided that she needs to wait till spring as she has traveling to do and does not really have time for a puppy. We talked about my dogs, her Nikki and her plans to see her new grandbaby soon to be born. I think she felt better once she got off the phone.

Ahhhh the last two are going! Gosh Willy is going on vacation already!! Lucky boy!! He has got the best of both worlds :P :P And Abby sounds like she will have the best life too :P You are so lucky to find such fabulous homes for all your Pups Bridget. It will feel quite strange in your home without them now. It was good of you to give time to this lady and make her feel better all round - pity she is not ready for another Lhasa yet.................I was thinking of Henry here by the way. Best Wishes, Lia xxxxx

I know I was trying to talk her into him, she wants a female and like to have the dog pick her out. Henry will get his chance it just has not come yet. His special family is out there they have not found him yet.
I have put the lady on my waitlist for next spring or late winter, to early to tell what or when I will have puppies again.
Still not sure on Libby...

Oh never mind Bridget - as you say there will be a true and loving home out there somewhere for Henry..........seriously, I wish I could help out but I can't because of Lexi now. You must let me see a pic of Henry when you have a minute to load it xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
