Wasn't sure where to put this so putting it here.
I just ordered a laptop for myself for my birthday in a couple of weeks. I plan to use the laptop to get organized with my dog stuff. I plan to put all my dog files and forms on the laptop and prepare a folder for new puppy owners with my card, contract, bill of sale, vet papers and reg papers, all in one neat package.
I have a website that I love but not sure what people looking for puppies think of it. Could you all go to the site and check it out looking at it from the view of someone looking for a puppy? I would like feedback as I'm thinking of reformatting the site, but don't want to if I don't have to.
The site is lhasas.mulitiply.com.
thanks

I couldn't get to the website at all. I kept redirecting me to a generic search type page.

Hi
I had a good look about the website and I reckon its got all the info you need to know. The content seems good enough, and i think the layout is good. I think it's just up to you whether you update it or not.
Sorry that doesn't help much.

can i ask, whats the 2 year health garentee?
ive never heard of that before xxx

What it means is that if any puppy is breed within 2 years comes up with a health defect (heart, kidney, siezures) and it is verified 2 vets that I will replace the puppy/dog with one from a future litter. I don't refund money. Lots of people here in the US like to see someone that will replace a puppy that has gotten sick.
I get many calls from people that have had dogs die with a a couple of years from Kidney, heart, or siezure and a few other things. I'm proud to say that I know had none of these problems with my puppies. So I don't mind doing this or stating that I will do this.

You see alot of people here giving some sort of warrenty or health garenttee. Any one can do this. Just have to put it in your contract. Like I say I stand up for my dogs and I also stand up for a couple other peoples dogs. I refer people to a couple of friends and I will stand up for their dogs when I refer someome to a friend. Idon't ship my puppies but have someone that does do I refer people to her that need shipping, but will stand behind any puppy from this person. I own several dogs from her and know her standards are the same as mine.

Thank you all for look it over for me. I think I will keep it the way things are for now. Free is a very good price right now.
Hi Bridget
Ive just caught up and just entered your link.................hey you've done alot of work here :P :P I love the video of the 11 year old Lhasa playing - how cute was this - which Lhasa is it Bridget? Also, can I commend you on your donation of a Lhasa pup to the child with PDD!! All credit to you and I would imagine this little poppet would help to bring out the best in this child who suffers from autism. It's amazing what animals can do with the inner sense that they have. It would be lovely to know the story behind this if you have the time one day.
All in all, I found your site easy to follow and informative..................................can I be cheeky now Bridget  any chance you could add our forum to your links page...............please      hope you don't mind my suggestion  xxxxxxxxxxxxx

Yes I will gladly add the forum to the site. The video is of the dog of the person that made my site. She past away a couple of years ago.
Yes I have given 2 or 3 if you count my mom’s dog to those that are needing a special working dog. I have seen first hand what they can do to help those with mental health, sugar, high blood pressure or autism. They can do great things but one needs to learn to read the dog and its reactions. My mom’s dog is great at alerting my mom to something off, but mom is not real good and figuring out what is off.
My Henry would make a great service dog for someone looking. I may start working with him if I have him much longer. He is so smart and easy going.

Thank you very much Bridget, I really appreciate this xxxxxx I think you are very kind hearted to help children and ppl in need and I understand about reading the reaction of a pooch. This obviously has to be learn't and probably is quite time consuming but the results at the end would be so worth it and far outweigh the time it takes to get to that point. I think its tremendous what you are doing. If you do keep Henry and you train him to become a 'service dog', you must keep us informed of his progress etc. I for one would love to know how he progresses. Look forward to this when the time is right. Love Lia xxxxx

You know that I will keep you posted. Right now I don’t have the room to keep Henry, but I will work with him as long as he is with me. I may try to get the word out that I have a service dog prospect. It is very hard to find a dog with the right temperament to do this kind of work.
Reading a dog is hard but just takes time. Mom’s dog Kalua detects her sugar and illness’s. Mom has not taken the time to learn to read her, but I know she has a normal sleeping location and then some nights she sleeps in a different location. If it was me I would be checking my sugar when she slept in the different location and check for a trend. I think you can follow me.

Henry is still looking but I have not pushed finding him a home right now. I will after the other 3 go to their homes this weekend things calm down. He's doing great. I"m going to get some new pictures of him this weekend. But will put an add in the local paper for him this weekend. Right now I'm getting people looking for girls, these I pass on to my friend, she has a few girls right now that are looking for homes.
Henry is so fluffy right now you can hardly see his eyes or face, his hair is starting part and he is so funny to watch.

Yes I’ve heard from a couple of people so far. Abby has made friends with one of the 2 dogs at her new home. She has decided that she is better then the other dog and has put her in her place. She is very loving toward their 2 yr old son. He will sit in the floor and she will sit in his lap and lick his face. Abby wandered outside and found the horses, one let out a large winny and Abby went all in their face barking and acting all big.
Willy was picked up in a large mobile home. The parents plan to get him use to traveling right off. He was leaving to visiting for a few days before heading back to their house. I will check in with them later in the week to see how things are going.
I will check in with everyone later this week to see how things are going.
Saturday I got a call from the mom of one of my last summer’s puppies Sassy. She called to tell me .that Sassy had puppies a couple weeks ago. I was not happy to hear this as I don’t promote this kind of thing. I warned the family that having 2 unaltered dogs in the house this could happen. They were not upset and now have 4 lhasa/havenease puppies in the house. I answered as many questions as I could about the puppies and what she should be doing. I’m hoping that they plan to get Sassy altered once the puppies are weaned. They are going to send me pictures of Sassy and the puppies. They sound cute.
Abby sounds as though she is having a whale of a time and thats really, really pleasing to the ear as you can imagine. And yeh, why not be the 'big girl' and stand her ground   Go Abby go girl :D :D
Willy I remembered was on his immediate vacation, jaunting around the states somewhere :D
And Sassy, what a gorgeous name but what a shame about the situation. Mmmm Lhasa x Havanese :!: I would love to see some pics of them :P :P
