I've attached the photos of wicket's two boys. They are both doing well and are big healthy boys but I haven't seen them since I took these photos where they are only hours old (and in the case of the second one, minutes). They just make my heart melt! I am desperate to see them again ... but I'm definitely not keeping one :(

The markings on the second pup are very similar to wickets when he was wee, then his black took over! When you cut wicket's coat back you still see that he has black spots all over his back, but the white usually hides it. To be honest, I would take both of them in an instant but I really need to think about Raven. I've not to breed Wicket with Raven as he's not "show standard" and so bringing in another boy that I couldn't breed her with isn't really an option. It sucks trying to think about what's best for the future because it'll kill me to see those pups go (even though I rarely see them). :( :( :(

I've got a really good foundation bitch in Raven so I need to think responsibly. In a few years time (probably about 10 or so) they'll be Spyanki lhasa apsos in show rings everywhere (and they'll all be mine because I probably won't be able to part with them)!

I love the little one with the tiny spots. I can relate to where you are coming from. Right now I still have Henry at the house looking for a home. I would really love to keep him as he has a great personality, teeth good great but his only 9 weeks old and so forth. But I have 2 males already and would have to part with one of them to keep him. This isn't an opton for me right now as I like my optons with the current boys.

I am hoping to keep back a female from Noggy and Hobo depending on colors. Don't really need a 5th girl but I have time to think about it.

Awe so sweet. When I first got Flower & her siblings they were only 10 hours old. Nothing sweeter. I love their little newborn faces.

How come you hardly see them? Nevermind, I think I just got it. Wicket was the stud and the pups live with someone else. Is that right?

Anyway they are precious. Wicket, what a stud. Congratulations daddy!!!!

You got it in one except wicket wasn't the chosen stud - she wouldn't stand for him, but raven caught her and she stood for him whether we liked it or not. I can never get a hold of the woman who owns the mum, and to be honest, I'm quite worried for the mum and pups. I'm just keeping my fingers crossed they all pull through.

Mmmmmm I'd be exactly the same as you Kim - worrying all the time - I'd be inclined to call on a 'I was just passing situation'............if she looks shocked and fumbles with her words, then you will know xxx

Here's the pups at 4 weeks 2 days old. The mainly white one is called Milo and the black one is called Stitch. They are just like their daddy!

Well, i take it all back, I won't be seeing Wicket's pup growing up. Chris's parents never went to see the pup tonight as his dad had changed his mind at the last minute about getting a dog (even though he had already named it) so they had a barney and decided a pup wasn't the best thing for them at this time. It's probably for the best as I think everyone has to be 100% sure about getting a dog (but if you already have a dog then the more the merrier whatever Chris says!! )

I don't know, but they were arguing then decided they would go see them, so we all got in the car and then they had a blazing row and I was just sitting there (worst situation possible). We hadn't even left my street when they turned round, dropped me off and left for home. Somehow I don't think he'll mellow on his one. It was his idea in the first place to get the pup so i think it's major cold feet, but because there are only 2 pups then he'll have to change his mind fast if he still wants it.

OOh I bet you just wanted the ground to open up and swallow you  . It's probably good that they didn't go tonight if they'd been arguing, he might change his mind once he's calmed down though but like you say, he'll have to be quick! xxx

I wouldn't have minded so much if it was my parents, but it was Chris's and his mum was in tears. Never want to be in that situation again. Chris is going to have a word with him about the pup. It's just a shame as the woman who owns the mum is getting mucked about as well. I was hoping they would love the pup but I'm sure he'll find another great home as he's a little smasher.

Well, it's all change again. The pup is their's! They were really lucky as 2 other people were interested but the woman selling them preferred the idea of it going to a good home where it would be the only dog.

I think he thought that she just wanted a dog, any dog, and that they could maybe put it off for a few months, but mary just wanted a clone of wicket and i'll almost certainly never breed him again so this was the one and only chance. They'll spoil him rotten and look after him well and i'll be able to see him all the time. I just hope him and wicket get on. Wicket thinks their house is his and if he has to share it with another pup then it might cause problems.

(there also might have been some emotional blackmail going on - you know what us women are like!!)
