Time taken to bath your lhasa

I've decided to see how long it takes for me to get Raven ready for a show. I'm about the start as soon as I've posted this and I'll post another as soon as I'm done. I think it takes about an hour or so, but we'll see!!!

".....AAAAAAAAAND SHE'S OFF!!!...AS KIMPOSSIBLE MAKES HER WAY UP THE STAIRS TO THE BATHROOM SHE IS CLOSELY WATCHED BY RAVEN AND AS SHE HITS THE FIRST HURDLE SHE IS GREETED BY THE BATHROOM DOOR...OH YES SHE IS NOW IN THE BATHROOM, TAPS ARE RUNNING....SHE IS MAKING IT LOOK LIKE A HUMAN BATH BUT :o :o OH NO!!!!!! RAVEN HAS SPOTTED THE NASTIES COMING OUT.....AND SHE CAN SEE TO HER LEFT THERE IS DOG SHAMPOO AND TO HER RIGHT THERE IS...WAIT FOR IT...A GROOMING BRUSH.... :shock: ...OH NO NOW KIMPOSSIBLE IS ON THE SECOND FURLONG SHE IS HEADING TO THE TOWEL CUPBOARD AS RAVEN FOLLOWS CLOSELY BEHIND WITH ONE EAR NOW STICKING UP AND HEAD COCKED TO THE SIDE.... :? ...KIMPOSSIBLE SWIFTLY TAKES THE SECOND HURDLE AND IS NOW IN HOT PURSUIT BY RAVEN WHO IS CLEARLY THINKING "NOT ON YOUR NELLY" AND AS THEY BOTH MAKE THEIR WAY BACK TO THE BATHROOM RAVEN IS TAKEN BY SURPRISE AS SHE INADVERTEDLY JUMPS THE THIRD HURDLE WHICH IS THE SIDE OF THE BATH OH YES ... Woohoo! That's me done! She is looking really good too, so i'm hopeful for tomorrow. I got a lot of grooming tips from people at SKc about Raven's coat and they really have made a big difference. Her coat is now much fuller and she looks like an adult! How long did it take? Almost an hour exactly. I think I'm getting this down to a fine art!

:lol: :lol: That's brilliant! Had me laughing all the way! And you weren't far off there! You missed the barking for her dad! And wicket coming in to laugh at her (if dogs could laugh that is). She did manage an escape at the end and was almost down the stairs when I got her, she did manage to get water everywhere and she attempted the high jump out the bath! If raven did make it out the back I think i would be eating dirt and sobbing, but thankfully I shut the back door before I started (this time - I've learned my lesson!).

I don't know what's happened. The time on it matches with the time on my pc. My first post was at 5.57 and my finishing post (lol) was at 6.58. The times all seem ok here. Maybe you have daylight savings time or something on in your control panel thing (does that make sense?).

You're definitely not going mad. Check the time in your user control panel thing - make sure it matches the time on your pc. It might be that that's mucking it up. just to show you that my pc is ok, here is my version:

Well, thats me soaking wet from bathing Diesel!!! Didnt quite get to the towel in time...nor did I quite shut the bathroom door properly.....so Diesel won on all counts!!! He was like an Olympic sprinter...propelling himself across the landing with what looked like "ear-power" :D :D :D :D :D
Im soaked....for my favourite Dropkick Murphys T-shirt on too..........grrrrrrr!!!!!!!!!!!! :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D
He is now in the garden doing some comedy crocodile-style "death roll" through the one patch of dirt there is out there!!!!!!!! :D :D :D

Im way overdue in bathing my three but we've had alot of rain lately and it takes me up to 5 to 6 hours to bath them and I dont feel like doing this just so that they can have it all ruined by this awful weather!

Bathed Diesel tonight...he was ANGELIC!!! He is now a week overdue for his haircut...so hes a bit longer than normal (even just a week makes the difference!) but he was SO good for me...absolute little star. I even walked him up the shop and bought him a cheese pasty for being so good!!!!!!!!! :D
