Does anyone who keeps their dogs in long coat have any pictures of their feet?
I'm trying to learn how to cut Raven's feet for shows. I even went down to Blackpool for a couple of hours to get shown how to trim them properly, but because we got stuck in traffic on the M55 (or whatever it is) we were rushing it and now I'm really nervous about trimming them properly.
Does anyone have any tips? Also, is it the front or the back feet that you layer? I can't remember.

Some hair extensions on the legs so you can't see the feet at all?

I cut raven's feet last night and i'm actually quite proud of them! I've only seen them being done properly once but I think I got them good. They're not perfect, but I'm quite happy with them!

Hi Kim
I do all the feet of my three. Its hard to put it into words really but I will try. Obviously standing, I pull all the hair back and then comb down one layer and trim this back to the ege of the paw. Then I pull another lot down and trim this layer back to just a bit longer than the first layer. I continue doing this, each layer being longer than the last one until you reach the top and last layer. I use curved scissors by the way and make sure all paws are flat to the table and then cut round using the table as a guide and rest' for the scissors. This last layer should completely cover all the other layers underneath and touch the table/floor. I knew it would be difficult to explain but I do hope you understand this. xxxxxxxxxxxxxx
