I use pin brushes, bristle brushes and different types of combs with different width teeth. I also use the hair grips that they use in hair salons to clip your hair back when sectioning their coats. I own a pair of curved scissors to trim round the paws and various other scissors for trimming of the pads and edging the main coat.

Diesel is in short coat, and he has most of his major work done every four weeks at the groomers.....
However, I comb him every day with a metal toothed comb...long teeth so it is suitable for his tail and ears also.
I have rounded end curved scissors which I got from my vets for £3...these are for his bottom and eyes...sterilised in between of course!!!
I have pointy sharp scissors for trimming in between the pads on his feet, as he still doesnt like Kaye his groomer doing that bit!!
I have got a brush to fluff his tail up but rarely use it!!

:D I trim their bottoms with rounded edge scissors just incase they move :!: :!: :? xx
