What technique do you use and which type of drying equipment do you use to dry your pooches. I still use a hand held dryer on the 3rd arm and I am still going to purchase a Tornado 93 - just keep forgetting to go out and buy it and plus Ive been busy - but, I will xxxx

If I have bathed Diesel, then its a hairdryer between my knees job - unless the kids are around to help!!!
At his groomerls...she puts him into a large crate and dries him with this ... er... thing. Its a blow dryer with a tumble dryer-type hose attachment coming from it that diffuses the air.....havent got a clue what its called!!! :? :o :?

    good god....................as far as I know, these are supposed to be used to simply take away most of the wetness and then thats it - not to dry the dog right through!!!!!!!

Sounds like you've got it off to a T Yvonne but the one thing I do know, I could never dry mine on the floor because they would run off then but once they are on the grooming table, then its fine xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

Well here we go my technique is quite simple really, first off I have to fight till i'm wet to the bone with my Lhasa's in the bath there a right royal pain, always trying to jump out of the bath, I then dry them best I can with there own bath robes, then I have them sit on the ironing board while I use the hand hairdryer in one hand and the brush in the other, I'm just glad the Lhasa's sit still on the ironing board :D

I have a Metro blaster dryer i have decided to get Ebony used to it so out came the H frame and i put the lead around her neck and tummy after i had adjusted the height She stood like a little angel then i thought i would let her hear it first so i bent down to turn it on and as i bent down my hand with the hose came down and it pointed right at Ebony unbeknown to me so when i turned it on all 4 of Ebony's feet came off the table, luckily i had put the supports around her 1st i can laugh now but it took a few days of her listening to it and blasting her from quite a distance for her to get a little used to it looks like i have a job to get her used to it being on her now it is rightly called a blaster it almost blasted poor Ebony into nextdoors house

It was like her being on one of those swing rides at the fairground where the swings go round and swing out i know it would be cruel to do it on purpose but i just laughed and laughed when it happened, it was just so funny, keeping to the thread i can safely say that the metro blaster will blast away your puppy as well as its fur.

I brush Benji's hair while it's wet and then back him into a corner and use the handheld hairdrier in one hand and a comb in the other. He's not too bad but he hates having his feet done and this sometimes takes some doing, easier when there's someone else around to pin him down or hold the hair drier for me. He's funny about his feet, but will let me blow dry his chest and face for ages.
Coco, the little one is still small enough for me to hold on my lap whilst drying her so she's ok but she's not as stubborn as Benji so I think she'll be good when she gets older too.

My Lhasa used to be really difficult in the bath but since he has been to a different groomer he seems to love it, if I have the shower attatchment on and he gets in the bathroom he tries to get in the bath! I don't know what the groomer did but boy am I grateful.
