Well mine is a digital SLR so it looks like the old fashioned type ones.....
And I was thinking of changing cameras cos although it zooms in well, it never did nice close ups....
And THEN......I asked SharamNat about his TOTALLY STUNNING action shots, and what camera he has (cos Im a nerd like that) and he mentioned using different lenses and woo-hoo I never realised I could screw extra magnifying lenses onto my existing one!!!
Hee hee hee Im sooooooo pleased!!!!!!

Maybe try switching your flash off? I always get better shots of Diesel that way...otherwise he ends up just looking like a cloud!!!!!!!!! :lol: :lol: :lol: :lol: :lol: :lol: :lol:

Aw dont be silly, we all do all we can in our own way, dont we? I took 100 kids to the beach today ...... yes, I have a headache now and Im shattered!!! To be honest, I was gone til 3pm, and that was the longest Ive left Mum for in about 3 months so I felt quite anxious, and we went to ShellBay which is a short ferry trip away and I was worried that if the heath caught fire then the ferry would only be open to the emergency service and we would be stranded there!!!!!! I am like the Prophet Of Doom!!!!!!!!!! :D :D :D :D :D :D But we had a LOVELY LOVELY day...will post a pic in a mo xxx

Cor I pity anyone who is the double of me then!!! :o :shock: :lol: The sepia one was done on Photobuckets editing bit...very easy again!! I thought Joe looked like a little grockle that day with his ice cream and sun hat!!! Minutes before, he did actually have socks on, pulled halfway up his leg........faux pas faux pas!!!!!!!!!! :D :D :D :D :D :D

Heheheheheheeeee!!!!!! I fond Diesel quite hard to photograph too, so I try and always keep the flash turned off otherwise he just looks like a cloud!!! :shock: :lol: :lol: Another trick I have learned is to move the camera with the dog...if that makes sense? If Diesels running I move the camera along with him and then click, it tends to work better xxx

My husband too loves photography i need a point and click camera he has a sony mavica CD camera it records straight onto CD (mini ones) it actually has a writer in the camera cost almost £1000 i hate it, bought him a good one at christmas £500 he hates it said its too little!!! He loves to do 3D photos if anyone has some of them 3D glasses i could post some pics on here he's really good at it. Of course some are better than others, he's done some of Ollie too

My camera is a digital SLR. Fuji S5600...not expensive at all...I paid £150 new for it but they go on ebay for £80-ish. I have only just realised I can add different lenses onto it (thanks to SharamNat) so I bought 4 macro (close ups) off ebay for £12.
I love taking photos...it all started when my Dad died when I was 15 and we only had a few photos of him, and I wished I had more. Ever since then I have photographed everything!!! :D When Xiola was born, I took 72 photos a week of her til she started school!!! How nerdy of me!!! :D

She is so sweet!!! :D :D :D She suits her name too...I was gonna call my Joe that if he was a girl...actually I did name him Layla for about 5 minutes cos I thought he was a girl, just presumed I was having another girl and didnt even look...I remember saying to Stewart "Oooh shes arrived on your cousins birthday, it'll have to be Layla Nikita then" (as I wanted Layla Nicole) and at that point the nurse said "Have you checked what youve got there?" and she lifted him up and his dangly bits ...... well you know!!! Anyway, he was meant to be Jake, and I took one look and said "Well, hes not a Jake" cos all the Jakes I know are dark, and hes blonde, and from nowhere the name Joe popped up!! Hes convinced hes named after Joe Strummer from The Clash ha ha ha!!!!!

Aw thanks...Xiola hates having her pic taken at the mo, shes really self conscious of her braces, which hopefully should be off in about 3 months time. She has been ever so good with them, but theyre starting to get her down now. Her whole face structure has changed since shes had them though, its really amazing!

Aw thanks...we all think our kids are lovely dont we?! Xiolas changed so much this past year, really grown up and gone from a girl to a young lady...and she is so confident too. Not in an overconfident way, I mean she has confidence..as in wearing nice clothes and experimenting with her hair etc...I would never have done that at her age, I was very awkward an shy...sometimes my Mum says "Oooh, Xiolas clothes are a bit short...and I say, well Mum shes only ever gonna be 14 and gorgeous once in her life..." Shes such a sensible girl, she goes to the Grammar school and has a nice group of friends, so I know how lucky I am. It could all change tomorrow and she could go off the rails, but for now I know Im lucky with her. :)

Well, Diesel has been such a sweetie today...really loving and cuddly and I feel like his two week sulk over Gucci is now over. It feels like he is accepting of it now and more settled. The kids have been great in taking Deez for extra walks, and do you know all my visitors have made even more of a fuss of Diesel than normal, just to make him feel like they arent here to see Gucci!
Im now looking forward to three weeks time when I can start walking Gucci - lol lol - thats gonna be fun!
I keep reminding myself of how Diesel first responded to a lead (NOT good!) and reassuring myself anything must be easier than that!!!
Aww glad Diesel is back to his normal self Nancy and I just love the pics especially the flying one lol lol.
Cant wait to see the pics of gucci walking !!
Remember the fun I had with Holly Aggggggggggggggh!!!!

I can just imagine what Gucci is gonna be like...he is a strong willed little boy who likes his own way, which I am trying to keep on top of, but how hard that is when theres a doeful little pair of eyes there looking at you!!!
Of course he has a matching diamante collar to Diesels lol lol lol

I'd try him with the collar now .............just put it on for him to get used to . You can take it off after a short while and then back on again after . just keep letting him wear it for short periods of time till you feel he is used to it. Then try the lead and practice in the house and up and down the garden . I did this with Roxy and she walked a lot btter than Holly!!! xxx

Paula is correct in saying try the collar on Gucci in the house and actually, and hopefully, you may find that Gucci will follow Diesel (with a few pulls and tugs in between lol) but Im sure you will manage xxxxxxxxxx

Aw I remember the day I put a lead on Diesel...poor soul was ten months old and had never seen one so clearly thought I was trying to kill him. Oh what a little star though...it took a day of patience and treats and that night we walked up the shop together I was SOOOOOO proud!!!

Poor Diesel was sick in the night.....6 times.
God knows what it was, but hes still a bit green this morning too...
I was taking him to the car boot sale this afternoon hoping to see his little blind friend oscar, but I dont think he will do very well in the car.

He smells. But I dont wanna upset him by bathing him so have sprayed him with some of that citrus grooming spray.
Am gonna chance it and take him with me this afternoon as the car journey is 10 mins and the fresh air wil do him the world of good I think xx

Yes...he had a trim yesterday...shaved around his bits and bobs, and trim and tidy up all over, and all between his pads were done. Oh and he was such a little star bless him!!!
