Hi everyone, just joined today and I am quite new to all this "stuff" so it may take me a while to get my head round it all. My puppy is 11 weeks old and is called Ruby, she is the sister to Shala, pcdoc (Bob)'s dog and we live next door to each other. My last two girls were Golden Retreivers who we sadly lost, 1 nearly a year ago and 1 nearly 18 months ago at the age of 14. As you can imagine it is quite different having a tiny little thing running round your feet and she is such a little character, she's brilliant and I am looking forward to many long years with her!

Hi Linda

A huge welcome to the forum. Bob has already told me all about you (all good  ) and all about Ruby, sister to Shala and omg, they are so alike - Ive seen the pic and I couldnt tell the difference!!!

Thank you for joining our forum and as you will see, as you find your way around, there are different forum topics and if you read underneath them all, you will see what is in them.

I can't wait to see pics of Ruby and look forward to reading your posts. Love Lia (bunch) xx

Hi Lindab, welcome to the forum. I remember Bob telling us about how Shalas sister was moving in next door and I thought how lovely for them both!
I have a Black lhasa called Ebony, she's 2 and a bit and a Golden Retriever called Molly, she's nearly 5. Sorry to hear you lost your GR's they lived to a very good age though. The two breeds are very different, both great, in their own ways. I'm always getting tripped up by Ebony and Molly just lies everywhere I need to be, so I'm always stepping over her or sliding her out of the way :D ! Debbie xxx

WElcome to the group from across the pond

That makes both of us. Across a mighty big pond.

Anyway welcome to the forum Lindab. I have been a member since January of this year and I have already made some dear friends abroad and over here. I found this forum to be full of good people with a plethera of knowledge and info that has helped and comforted me in times of need and entertained me and made me laugh when I had nothing else to laugh about. I thank God for this forum in my life.

Looking forward to lot's of pictures. And how lucky for you to live next door to Bob. If you ever need any technical help you can just knock on his door. :D
